Read The House Girl by Tara Conklin and join us for related activities.  
The first scheduled program will be Thursday, August 20, 6:30 p.m. at The Gardens assisted living center.  Peru State English Professor Dan Holtz will be sharing his musical program From Bleeding Kansas to Old Virginny: Songs and Stories of the Civil War.  This program is made possible by Humanities Nebraska. No registration is required - bring a friend or two!  Call us for more information at 402-826-3809.
